Urethane Water Base Coating
Versatile, Emissions Control Coating
SURFACE PREPARATION:
· Remove all traces of oils, grease, rust, dirt, and dust
· A sandblasted or rough surface improves adhesion for non-decorative
metals
· For decorative metals, remove oil, wax, dirt, grease, and
oxides
· Apply coating directly over decorative metal surface
Preparing surfaces exposed to high salt conditions
· Sandblast or wire brush metal surfaces to remove all
rust and oxides
· Pressure wash with a free-rinsing, high pH cleaner - –
Bronz-Glow Heavy-Duty Alkaline Cleaner is recommended
· Pressure rinse with clean water
· Pressure wash to reduce surface pH to 3.5-5.0 - Bronz-Glow
Heavy-Duty Acid Cleaner is recommended
· Allow to dry thoroughly
Preparing Steel Surfaces
· Abrasive blast to SSPC SP-5/NACE No. 1 or Swedish Standard
Sa 3.
· Prime using Husky F-915 or F-250 Primer
Prparing Concrete surfaces
· Clean, abrasive blast, or etch with 10 per cent muriatic
acid
· Prime with Bronz-Glow F-915 Acrylic Primer
