Safely Coats Over Decals, Labels, Stencils &
Permanent Marker Without Distortion
SURFACE PREPARATION:
· Pressure wash using mild detergent, removing any heavy
dirt, bird droppings, grease or oil
· Using 50/50 water/alcohol mix on painted surfaces remove
all traces of oils, grease, dirt, and dust by hand wiping
PREPARING RUSTED BARE STEEL OR GALVANIZED SURFACES:
· Sandblast or wire brush metal surfaces to remove all
rust and oxides
· After sandblast or wire brushing, pressure wash with a free-rinsing,
high pH cleaner - Bronz-Glow Heavy-Duty Alkaline Cleaner is
recommended
· Pressure rinse with clean water
· Pressure wash to reduce surface pH to 3.5-5.0 – Bronz-Glow
Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaner is recommended
· Allow to dry thoroughly
ABRASIVE BLAST:
· Abrasive blast to SSPC SP-5/NACE No. 1 or Swedish Standard
Sa 3.
PREPARING CONCRETE SURFACES:
· Clean, abrasive blast, or etch with 10 per cent muriatic
acid
· Prime with Bronz-Glow F-915 Acrylic Primer
