CORROSION PROTECTION FROM: Moisture, acidic and alkali bases, salt air, and salt water coastal conditions, abrasion, U.V. weathering, corrosion, scratching, animal, and bird fluids.
COATING RECOMMENDATIONS: SPC Clear is used to coat surfaces such as pre-painted metal, galvanized metal, plastic, painted steel, copper & aluminum piping, rubber, along with cement block, masonry sumps, tower basins and almost any other type of substrate material. Priming is not required, but is recommended for increased adhesion.

DESCRIPTION: This unique air-dry coating provides tough surface protection in harsh environments where other paints fail. SPC-Clear is formulated around a synthetic base and at 12 to 15 mils dry thickness will provide moisture protection from harsh base alkaline, and acidic solutions. In addition to corrosion resistance, it can be used in its clear form to protect paper from exterior elements, prevent glass from shattering, and offer scratch resistance to plastics. An ideal coating that allows a manufacturer’s colors and product information to be protected and visible without distortion. Apply by spray, brush, dip or roll.

Surface Preparation:
- Remove all traces of oil, grease, rust, dirt and dust
- Pressure rinse with a high pH cleaning solution
- Rinse with fresh water
- Pressure rinse with a low pH cleaning solution to reduce surface pH to 5.0 to 7.0
- Allow to air-dry thoroughly
