CORROSION PROTECTION FROM: acids, alkalis, acid rain, chlorine fumes, salt air, salt water spray, sulfur water and most other chemical elements.

COATING RECOMMENDATION: Bronz-Glow Husky "Green-Fin" Coil Coat Protector can effectively be spray applied to the coils of condensing units, refrigeration systems, icemakers and to most any other type of fin/tube or coaxial coil. We recommend coils that are constructed with more than 2 rows of tubing in depth be dip coated. It can also be applied to aluminum, galvanized, copper or steel coils.

DESCRIPTION: ‘Green-Fin’ Coil Protector is a unique air-dry coating that provides corrosion protection in environments where traditional coil coatings fail. Formulated around a synthetic base, at 1.5 to 2_ mils dry thickness Husky® Green Fin Coil Protector provides effective corrosion protection in virtually any operating environment.

Surface Preparation:

  • Pressure rinse with a high pH cleaning solution
  • Rinse with fresh water
  • Pressure wash with a low pH cleaning solution to reduce surface pH to 5.0 to 7.0
  • Allow to dry thoroughly
  • Prime using Bronz-Glow 150 acrylic primer

Preparing Tubing Surfaces:

  • Clean using solvent wipe of MEK, Toluene, Acetone or similar solvent
  • Prime tubing with Bronz-Glow 150 acrylic primer
