DESCRIPTION:
Heavy Duty Alkaline Cleaner is a highly concentrated balanced
surfactant cleaner that removes dirt, grime, oil, insect residue,
and airborne deposited corrosives without damaging the aluminum
and copper coil. Coil Guard does not etch or attack the coil
alloys or coating. A surfactant system cleaner that is safe
and pleasant to apply as it does not burn or irritate the
technicians skin. Formulated of deep penetrating surfactants
it reduces the surface tension of the water allowing it to
saturate the soil and then lift it from the surface of the
coil when rinsed. Coil Guard is free rinsing and safe to put
down the drain. It foams when applied to allow for greater
vertical surface contact time. Coil Guard removes the tough
stuff which deposits on condenser and evaporator coils from
the air stream and leaves a clean coil surface which improves
operating efficiency of the unit. Some studies have confirmed
the simple act of properly cleaning a coil can improve heat
transfer efficiency by as much as 15-20%. Efficient coil operation
is an energy cost saver. It takes only a few ounces in a gallon
of water to do the job on the dirtiest coil.
